Brundall Bay Marina

Brundall Bay Marina, Brundall, Norwich, NR13 5PN

Situated on the beautiful Norfolk Broads, Brundall Bay Marina is the largest and best equipped marina on the Broads, with moorings for over 300 boats, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Brundall Bay Marina is set in 50 acres of beautiful and peaceful parkland in an area of outstanding natural beauty with National Park status. There is a RSPB reserve beside the Marina, which is rich in wildlife.

The Norfolk Broads offer 240 km of safe, tranquil and peaceful cruising and is justifiably one of Europe's most popular inland waterways, best appreciated afloat. Cruising on the Broads is a unique experience as gently flowing rivers meander through pretty and unspoilt countryside. Also within easy reach is the north Norfolk coastline with Great Yarmouth just three hours away: and from there, for the more adventurous, there is open sea and the near continent.

Really marvellous marina. Any requests get addressed straight away. Love it, love it, love it. Deana Alliban

We have been berth holders at Brundall Bay Marina for some ten years and have really enjoyed being there. We think this is the best Marina on the Broads as it is like mooring in a National Park rather than a boat yard. It is so close to nature, but also maintained very well. The staff are great and they do their very best to make sure all the berth holders are happy. The Marina is kept clean, tidy, and safe for berth holders and visitors. The facilities are improving every season. We now have two wet rooms that are fantastic especially for families, or disabled, as they have far more privacy than in the other showers and toilets. and the new BBQ area also. Yours Faithfully: Peter Francis

Having been a berth holder at Brundall Bay Marina for nearly 30 years, and during that time experiencing a number of owners, I consider the current owner, Tingdene, together with the staff at the Marina to be up there with the best.

Running a marina, with all the associated difficulties posed by the many variables of the British weather together with an unstable and volatile feature such as tidal waters, is demanding for any owner but I have to say that albeit living some 50 miles away from the marina, I have every confidence in the way the marina is managed and maintained and for a boat owner, this is an important consideration.

In recent years, useful additional facilities have been provided and include the provision of family style ‘wet rooms’, new key headings and a dedicated Wi Fi system. Any issues raised by berth holders are, whenever possible, effectively remedied by the helpful staff.

Being a native of Norfolk, I am familiar with most other marinas in the county but I can honestly say that the vast area and natural scenic layout at Brundall Bay does, in my opinion, make this the most ideal location to relax. The village has a range of amenities, including a supermarket ,and there are some beautiful local walks, a nearby rail service to Norwich, Lowestoft or Gt.Yarmouth and is within easy driving distance of Norwich, Wroxham and other idyllic local broadland villages.

If relaxing in a peaceful setting on board your boat is what you have in mind, then you need look no further than Brundall Bay Marina. Over the years, I have witnessed a number of boat owners move to other marina’s but it has never been long before the vast majority return, an action that speaks for itself.
