TINGDENE ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF £1M MAJOR INVESTMENT IN
RACECOURSE MARINA FACILITIES
Tingdene Marinas Limited is delighted to announce that its £1m investment in new
pontoons and shoreside facilities at Racecourse Marina on the River Thames in Windsor has been completed on schedule and to plan.
Steve Arber, Operations Director explains: “this £1m project has upgraded the facilities and increased our capacity by 50 per cent to 262 berths. It’s gone exactly as planned and we experienced excellent service from our contractors on this project – Walcon Marine, Land & Water, Rolec and Riverworks.
“Our marina in the heart of the Thames at Windsor is now state-of-the-art. Racecourse is completely geared as a one-stop shop for our berth-holders, who can start to relax as soon as they arrive on our newly resurfaced entrance road. Most importantly, the customer feedback has been excellent.”
Diane Moreton has been a berthholder at Racecourse Marina for 10 years: “The changes are fantastic. They have been delivered step by step and the new pontoons are so much better, as is the dedicated new berth-holders car park. I also want to praise marina manager Neill Walker and his team; if you go to them with a problem it is fixed.”
Steve Arber continues: “When you can provide that extra element of service for a customer, something that’s not in the tariff or the brochure, it means a lot to them. That’s exactly the sort of thing we like to do when it is possible.
“This latest phase of investment has enhanced the appeal of already popular facilities, such as GOGOS waterfront restaurant and cocktail bar and our boat sales and boatyard facilities. We’re now looking forward to a great 2017 with our growing number of berthholders here at Racecourse Marina.”
